Gov. Sarah Palin says “she doesn’t know what the VP does”

Friday, August 29th, 2008

Why would John McCain pick a candidate who admittedly does not know much about the position she has been picked for? Might it be that McCain thinks women are that blind to real issues that they will vote for this ticket solely because of gender. I wonder if the mainstream media will pick this up!

Joe Biden Says He’ll Accept VP Status

Monday, June 23rd, 2008

Media Pundits and Political leaders seem a little upset that a politician did the unthinkable. He told the truth!

Many who are in the running for the VP slot for Barack obama are keeping tight lipped, some even going as far to say they would reject the offer. Senator biden however is letting it be known that he would proudly serve this county as Vice President. And Kudos to that man for being honest. Politricks can be a little weird at times, if you tell the truth you are a liar, if you lie you are merely protecting the public. Me personally, I don’t get it at times.

I would rather say hey I’ll take the position rather than talk about how much I wouldn’t and then accept it later. What do you call that? A change of heart, I think not! Obama 08 Yes We Can Si Se Puede!

Possible VP Gen. Wes Clark rips McCain

Saturday, June 14th, 2008

Clark was sounding mighty Presidential here. Seems like he would compliment Barack well and adds the experience of foreign affairs and military strategy. Thoughts?

Boston up 2 - 0 in the FINALS

Monday, June 9th, 2008

HMMM I can’t say that I would have called this one! I was expecting Kobe to put the Celtics away, they got close in the end but the Celtics prevailed. What will happen next, if Boston wins this is going to be a huge upset for the Lakers. Kobe is trying to seal the deal, the championship will be a happy ending to an excellent season, his MVP, and all this Jordan comparison talk! Let’s watch and see how this unfolds.

Jesse Jackson thinks Clinton should be the VP

Monday, June 9th, 2008

“The Rev. Jesse Jackson said today that Sen. Hillary Clinton has made “a powerful case” for her candidacy for vice president.

Sen. Barack Obama should take his time choosing a running mate, Jackson said in an interview with the Associated Press today, but Clinton offers some major advantages.

“As he surveys the field, it must be someone who is compatible with him philosophically,
someone who is loyal to his agenda and someone who brings a constituency that matters and the capacity to become the next president, as the Constitution requires should disaster strike,” Jackson said, and Clinton meets those requirements. “She may not be the only one who does, but she certainly does.

“She starts with 18 million votes,” he said. “She starts having gained a following among Latinos and she has substantial support among African Americans. … Women will be looking to her place in the scheme of things.”
