This is a sad day for the Kilpatrick family. Amid charges of perjury, accusations of mis-handling the city of Detroit’s money for his own personal gain, and a sordid love affair with his former assistant which will cost the taxpayers of Detroit millions of dollars, one would not think things could get worst for Kwame Kilpatrick.

Well, things can always get worst and they did this morning when a Detroit Judge ordered him to jail for taking a trip to Canada without notifying the court. How did a young man with such a promising career end up in all this turmoil. While others laugh at his misfortune, I feel sorry for his wife and children and him. I could not imagine going from Mayor of Detroit to sitting next to the criminals of Detroit. From City Hall to County Jail this has been one hell of a ride for Mayor Kilpatrick.

And why is it when people get in trouble they run to the black community even if they weren’t supporting them before. Like how do you cost a city millions of dollars and then claim to be the victim; dude sit down you are not a victim. You attempted to play the game, you did a very bad job at it mind you. Now please bow out gracefully so Detroit can begin to improve their image and recover from your nonsense and begin to affect the real problems of their city.
