Kanye West Arrested

Thursday, September 11th, 2008

This sucks….. Violence only begats more violence and expensive lawsuits; in the end it’s really not worth the trouble.

LOS ANGELES - Police say they have arrested Kanye West at Los Angeles International Airport on suspicion of vandalism after an altercation with a photographer.

An airport spokesman says police also arrested West’s road manager shortly before 8 a.m. on Thursday.

Airport spokesman Marshall Lowe says early reports are that West got into an altercation with a commercial photographer and a camera valued at more than $10,000 was broken.

The celebrity Web site TMZ.com is reporting that West smashed the camera of a photographer in the American Airlines terminal at LAX. TMZ says one of its photographers began videotaping the scene and the road manager stopped him and asked for the camera. The road manager then grabbed the video camera and threw it to the ground.

The incident happened before West and his manager, who was not identified, cleared a security screening at the airport.

Lowe says police are continuing to interview witnesses and West may be booked later this morning.

How Rosie Gonna be Mad at Kanye?

Thursday, August 7th, 2008

Parental Advisory is highly advised for this post.

So I’m surfing the net today and I see that Rosie Perez is tight with Kanye West because of his mention of her breasts on his last album on the intro track.

Puerto Rican actress Rosie Perez is upset over the use of her person in Kanye West’s song “Good Morning”.

Perez is concerned over a certain line in which she believes that West is referring to her breasts, “You got D’s motherf**ker, D’s, Rosie Perez.”

“I’m a woman of a certain age and if you’re gonna mention me in a song, have a little respect,” Perez explained. “He mentions my breasts. When you walk down the street and you have 15-year-old boys.. and they’re like, ‘Yo, Rosie, D’s D’s, Rosie Perez,’ it’s no good.”

Perez is best known for her roles in Do The Right Thing and White Men Can’t Jump and the actress recently appeared in the comedy Pineapple Express.

Kanye West has yet to respond to the situation.

I was feeling Rosie, I was like we need to respect our women and maybe the line was a little inappropriate. Then I thought about it, Rosie is always showing off her breasts, how could she be worried about little boys talking about her breasts when their online for every young man’s viewing pleasure. She is constantly pictured with no bra on, and these pictures don’t just come out of thin air, obviously she walked out the house with them exposed. She has tons of films where her bare breast are exposed.

She is obviously proud of her breasts, she exploits them in films and pictures so I’m asking “Rosie, are you really mad at Kanye?” I have linked some images of Rosie and those breasts, you be the judge. All I’m saying is, if you’re out there parading your breasts around you can’t be mad when someone mentions them.

Ice - T Responds to Soulja boy

Sunday, June 22nd, 2008

I was shocked that Soulja boy responded the way that he did. It shows a lack of respect for the older generation and leaders of Hip-Hop. I mean does Soulja Boy really think that he makes good music, like noone will remember this dude next year. And his response sounds like a immature little boy, BEAT IT!!!!

Here’s How The Whole Thing Started…

Here is Soulja boy’s response.

Soulja boy is fresh ass hell and is actually the true meaning of what hip hop is sposed to be. He came from the hood, made his own beats, made up a new saying, new sound and a new dance with one song. He had all of America rapping this summer. If that ain’t Hip Hop then what is? A bunch of wannabe keep it real rappers that ain’t even relevant, recycling samples trying to act like it’s 96 again and all they do is hate on new shit? Niggas always talk about the golden age but for a 13 year old kid, this is the golden age!!! That song was so dope cause everything he said had a hidden meaning… that’s Nas level shit… he just put it over some steel drums which is also some Nas shit if you had the 2nd album cassette with the bonus track “Silent Murder” on it. In closing… new niggas get ya money$$$$$$$$$$ Keep this shit fresh and original…. ain’t no fuckin’ rules to this shit and that’s what real hip hop is to me. - Kanye West

Now Kanye is rolling with Soulja Boy on this one. So basically if you spit on a record, loop it over a few times now you are Hip-Hop. Vanilla Ice is hip-Hop, hell if you come from the hood, make your own beats then you too can be hip hop. It doesn’t matter if you have any love for the culture, this genre of music. But clearly this is where the industry meets the culture, Soulja boy is what the industry has made. Times are changing so to say everything that is new is wack is proposterous. But for Kanye West to compare Soulja Boy to Nas is outrageous. Matter fact I am forgetting that Kanye goes on tirades and this was definitely one of them.

Death of Donda West Prompts Stricter Regulations

Friday, May 30th, 2008

donda west

I just read two articles discussing how California lawmakers are attempting to propose stricter regulations for plastic surgery procedures. This is great news, far too many people are resorting to plastic surgery and are extremely naive of the consequences.

Senator Mark Ridley-Thomas and Assemblywoman Wilmer Amina Carter are both working on law projects that are aimed at protecting people who want to undergo such procedures. Click the below link for more information:
