Terrence from 106 & Park ROASTING Rocsi!

Saturday, July 12th, 2008

What’s really good with this! I just happened to be watching this episode of 106 & Park and I thought the jokes were all in good fun. However I guess Rocsi didn’t think so and refused to come back out to close the show. Sad! I hope noone gets fired! As a professional after I saw how tight she was getting I would have let the jokes die which we see in the video Terrence did not do!

Here’s what another blogger had to say about the fiasco:

Wow. Terrence is mean. for most of the show today Terrence was clowning Rocsi. He was checking her about how she was stuttering over her words and asked if she knew how to read. He told her that her breath stunk and she needed a mint, and asked her why she didn’t look as good as Ciara. He continued to diss her, until she finally left off the stage during the 2nd video on the countdown and refused to close out the show”

Bernie Mac Uses Vulgar Language at Obama Event

Saturday, July 12th, 2008

So instead of infant babies dying here in the United States or the GENOCIDE that is going on in other countries the sensationalized media will run a story like this for the next week or so. A few months ago when media outlets called Barack Obama a “rockstar” I thought it was a compliment in a way. I look at rock stars favorably and think that they get alot of notoriety. For some reason I forgot that any type of celebrity is so scrutinized in the media that it becomes sickening to the public.

Barack Obama is now the poster child for too much media light. Anything that has anything to do with this man will be blown up all over the cable news channels because quite simply, he gets ratings. I’m a part of this problem myself, I watched Countdown for an hour the other day whith some woman filling in for Keith Olberman and the whole show sucked. I only watched it because they kept tlaking about Barack Obama and his daughters. I just wanted to see some happy black love fill the television screen. It was the last segment, so I had to sit through tons of other far left nonsense, mediocre jokes and sarcasm that would kill any sensible person.

So now here is this Bernie Mac drama, Bernie Mac’s standup is hilarious I must add. I have seen him live, hands down he is one of the funniest comedians I have ever seen live. In fact I am going to post some of his clips now in light of this sensationalized media nonsense. With that said, crude language; Bernie and others who are excited about Barack’s breakthrough have to remember that you are still performing for someone who is seeking the White House. If Barack is elected they will not be playing the Gap Band at the White House. Nope, it will be the same old black tie affairs and people will have to act accordingly. It’s a family show and all, LOL!

CHICAGO - Comedian Bernie Mac endured some heckling and a campaign rebuke during a surprise appearance Friday night at a fundraiser for Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama.

Toward the end of a 10-minute standup routine at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in downtown Chicago, the 50-year-old star of “The Bernie Mac Show” joked about menopause, sexual infidelity and promiscuity, and used occasional crude language.

“My little nephew came to me and he said, ‘Uncle, what’s the difference between a hypothetical question and a realistic question?’” Mac said. “I said, I don’t know, but I said, ‘Go upstairs and ask your mother if she’d make love to the mailman for $50,000.’”

As the joke continued, the punchline evoked an angry response from at least one person in the audience, who said it was offensive to women.

“It’s not funny. Let’s get Barack on,” a man shouted from the crowd, which paid $2,300 each to support the Illinois senator.

About 15 minutes later, Obama tried to smooth things over with a joke of his own.

“We can’t afford to be divided by race. We can’t afford to be divided by region or by class and we can’t afford to be divided by gender, which by the way, that means, Bernie, you’ve got to clean up your act next time,” Obama said. “This is a family affair. By the way, I’m just messing with you, man.”

The incident drew response from Obama’s campaign, which criticized Mac for his choice of material.

“Sen. Obama told Bernie Mac that he doesn’t condone these statements and believes what was said was inappropriate,” spokeswoman Jen Psaki said in a statement after the event.

Mac, a Chicago native, said he’s a longtime Obama supporter and called the presumptive Democratic nominee a “man’s man” while offering him advice for the duration of the campaign trail.

“People like rumors. They’re going to say things like you was at the club with Lil’ Kim, and you and Kanye West got into a fist fight,” he said. “You can’t get upset. You’ve got to keep hope alive.”

Mac’s appearance was Obama’s first celebrity event of the evening. Later at a Lincoln Park nightclub, Obama spoke to a raucous crowd of music fans, who paid up to $500 per person to see a performance by Wilco lead singer Jeff Tweedy, and two other band members.

“Before these guys go, I want them to know that I had heard a rumor that they had suggested that I had nothing by them on my iPod,” Obama said. “That is not true. I love Wilco.”
