Thank you my brother =] I feel the need to share something else with you too, but it requires another favor though I know you won't mind. Read these verses I'm giving you, they are o so sweet for the soul

Romans 11:1-6. Pay special attention to verse 5 and 6, this will speak for itself

Acts 3:1-16. Acts 3:16. It is so incredibly hard for me to grasp that that is all it took for Peter to heal the man -- faith that Jesus our God would do it. If I ran into a man in a wheelchair tomorrow, and I did the same as Peter, could I really do that? I know I can, I know it can be done and that puts a huge smile on my face! But I'm pretty sure I'm not at that level of doubtless faith yet, but I will make damn sure I get there.

The last is Acts 4:1-15 with emphasis on verse13 first, then verse 8. They are just ordinary guys, like you and me, made extraordinary by the Holy Spirit. Praise the God of our Salvation!

Verses are of course part of a larger story that they are embodied in, so if you want the full effect of these verses read Acts chapters 1-4

God Bless

I will pray for you brother. Don't be so hard on yourself, your story is no different than mine. I'll pray to God and be like if you make this right then I'll never do such and such again. Umm, that never works, it's the temptation and free will and it gets us every time. What we can be thankful about is that God is nothing like us, yes we are made in his image and at our best we can aspire to be like God but that's when we let go of worldly beliefs and nonsense. If God were like me, he'd hold grudges, he wouldn't believe you because he's heard it before but God's not like us. He continues to let us grow, bump our heads and then he still cares for us. It's so funny because my next Pardon me is about a similar topic. Thank the Lord that we serve a God who exemplifies our best and none of our worst.

I've messed up so many times, make some kind of promise to myself and God, and never fail to fail again. It's not that I don't trust God but it's so hard to believe anything I tell myself anymore. I have a long history of following my own passions to get instant gratification rather than following reason to do what's right... How sad it is that I constantly and willingly trade the truth of God to feed the immoral side of me. It's getting so bad that apathy is starting to take me over... I'm saying this in hopes you will pray for me native.

Great metaphor by the way... I have heard a different kind. Imagine you're a child again, caught in a burning building two, maybe three stories high. You're at the window screaming for help, the smoke so heavy you can't see anything past your own hands. Then you hear a the voice of you dad telling you to jump. You can't see anything and you don't know where he is but he is pleading for you to trust him, and just jump. It's a bit different but still about having faith in God. Of course I'll pray for you too native. It's great that you put up blogs about things going on around the world that you have concern for, even better you have very good morals and from what I have seen take a the right stance on an issue. God Bless you man.
