Dateline goes undercover and exposes Quixtar

Quixtar scheme

Have you been approached by a “friend” or “colleague” about new and innovative ways to make money. The first meeting is normally small and informal, but the main premise of the meeting is to tell you how easy it is to make money. These meetings are even being held amidst the economic turmoil our country is experiencing. Your friend exploits your emotions and tells you that these are the secrets the wealthy use to make their money and keep their money.

I’m talking about none other than Quixtar, Amway and some of the other get rich quick schemes out there. I think I got suckered once, it was a think rich, grow rich seminar or something like that. In my own defense i was heart broken at the time, I went to the seminar. I think I paid $45 or something for the next seminar, but I never went back, so in reality they got me for my money!

Dateline found this get rich quick scheme to be a little too good to be true. So they went undercover to see if this company delivered on its promise.

Quote of The Week:

You know you are beginning to come to life when the self-accusing spirit begins to nag you when you do that which is not right. When you lay down at night and something starts jabbing you, saying you know you should not have done that, that means you are coming alive morally. Do not kill that spirit.
