Sarah Palin

I’m watching the speech and I’m sorry people. Just not presidential enough for me. I mean this hockey mom thing is cool…. for the PTA. But I want to hear about how you are going to help lead and change the country and not about how much of a quirky weirdo you are.

I want a leader not someone whose party wants to cry foul when the media properly vets her unlike what John McCain has done.

If there is a person who supports ABSTINENCE ONLY EDUCATION then i would hope that she promotes that same information in her own home. Abstinence only, well what does that do to all of the teenagers who are having sex, what does that do to lower the std rate in this country when you are not educating teenages about safe sex.

WHAT WE NEED IS NOT MCCAIN/PALIN WE NEED REAL LEADERSHIP AND NOT JUST A GIMMICK TO GAIN WOMEN VOTERS!

You said exactly how I feel sandz!

I’m sorry, for all those people saying she “brought it” and “proved herself” last night… I beg to differ. Yea she got a few jabs in at Obama and Biden (most of that not as funny as they tried to make them seem), but is that all I want from the 2nd in Command of the free world? If that was the case, Ced, me and you should run for the next election!

After wasting about an hour of my life watching her speech (60 minutes I’ll never get back!) I still know nothing about her, her stance on certain issues, her credentials, and she didn’t bother to address any of the issues people have with her.

I heard her do nothing but big up McCain, that he fought in a war, and he’s better than Obama…. ok I get that from commercials, WHAT ELSE?!?!? To top it off, the republicans said someone wrote her speech for her!!!! You PAID someone to write that crap???

I can’t believe she compared a small town in Alaska to Chicago (I’m not even from Chicago and I’m offended!). I’m sick of them pulling the “veteran” card. And am I the only one who noticed her daughter’s “baby daddy” on the stage? I’m done…. I can’t even do it anymore……

I feel sorry for the repubs, after seeing the DNC last week and all the speeches that were given, was this the best they could come up with? As much as they clown Obama, they seriously under-estimate the power or inspiration, a skill they obviously lack.

OK, let’s be real Palin did a good job to appeal to the conservative base, You liberal Dems will not be able to understand that because your not thinking of your country first but rather just trying to make history. Even though I support Barack, I think that many voters are not voting to change politics but rather just to get a black man elected and thats not right. he is a politican and will Lie and say what he knows you want to hear to make you feel good about yourself. But he is not stating that no matter if he is president or not, the next commandor in chief will not have a great term because they are going to try and clean up Bush’s mistakes. The next president will be the fall person for the horrible Economy because they will not be able to fix it right away. the true winner is the president who will preside over the country in either 2012 or 2016.

I see that no one has any comments, so I will again SAy GO OBAMA, but Also GOOOOO All the rest of Republican nation

She may have appealed to liberal conservatives, but don’t they have those votes already? Aren’t they working to grab those “pissed off” Hillary voters? If so, then I repeat she didn’t do her job.

I tuned into Palin’s speech with a completely objective mind. I honestly wanted to hear what she had to say, then I realized she was saying NOTHING…..hence my frustration. A good speech is a good speech period and I’ll give credit where credit is due. For example, Rudy Giuliani gave a good speech! But for someone random Gov. to join this race at the last minute with a lot of controversy and not assert herself to me is unacceptable.

I can only speak for myself, but I am a Barack supporter and fully aware of his stance on the issues that are key to me. That’s why I’m voting for him. If I only cared about a black man being in office that means I’d vote for Al Sharpton if he were running for Pres. and that’s simply not true.

And I’m tired of people pulling the “race” card when referring to Obama supporters. A majority of Hillary voters were only voting for her because they wanted to see a female president. The republicans chose Palin because they wanted to make history as well. So let’s not even go down that road.

You can wave the Sarah Palin flag all you want, but I’m still not impressed or even vaguely interested.

Yeah, Your a Barack supporter because of his Issues, well then name them, or do you have to go to his website to find out what they are, Too bad you dont want to be true to your self, fact is he is Black, He is a Negro, and He will be a crooked Negro in office. Yes I still want him in Office but He still a politican. Why dont you do some research and find out how he won his Senate Position before saying you are for him and his policies.

    I will Wait
