HE is a THEIF and a COWARD! Lets add these to his ever growing list of character flaws… He cant even be Man enough to take responsibility for his crime…Quite making EXCUSES–depression HA! He caused his own depression, bet he was depressed all the while he lived his lavish life. OH and you who solicites comments, you should not erase the ones you dont like….someone should pop your MYOPIC Bubble. Kirk WAS not only ethically, but MORALLY bankrupt….

He is a THEIF and a COWARD…..he cant even take responsibility for his crimes…just two more Character flaws to add to the ever growing list…we should alphabetize them….Quit making excuses for this morally and ethically BANKRUPT individual….depression, ha…he asked for it.!

Please don’t confuse a criminal who takes the suicide route to mental illness or depression. Did he have depression? Most certainly. So would anybody facing 20 years in jail after living like the Hiltons. So no, he was not mentally ill. He was depressed bcoz of his circumstances. Had his circumstances worked out differently, he would not have committed suicide. This is especially evident bcoz he committed suicide AFTER he was sentenced not before when he still had a chance at freedom. Basically, he looked at his life while in his jail cell and realized this is it. After all the education and high-living, i still end up in jail like a common thug. Anybody with absolutely no prior history of depression would become depressed under those circumstances and kill him/herself. So no, I’m not sympathetic. Unlike others who have a real mental illness not of their own making, he created his own depression. Good riddance to bad rubbish!

I was onli fortunate to spend one day with this man. it was the best day i will remember for the rest of my life. after reading the comments from others, at first i became angry because this man did not do anything horribly wrong, to judge him the way some of these comments r judging him. yes he made mistakes, we are human we make mistakes, unfortunate for him, his mistake cost him more than he bargained for. as for Ken., thank you for your input…i dnt believe he was the onli one involved, but there are more corrupt people in the world who have the money and the heartlessness to get away with it. He was a loving dad who really did love his sons, but more loved his friends and families. The one day i spent with him and his family, i remember vividly because that is the effect he manifest on people. yes, he was educated a lot and worked hard to get where he got. its unfortunate he got caught up in the glamour of the “good” life. as for his family, i still see his friends and kids occasionally and they unfortunately are going through their lives without him, but for sum1 who many think is wrong, selfish,and other horrible things, he really makes a positive impact on people. i just wish all these people who are judging him in his time of defeat, knew him in his time of triumph because if they did, they would have a different outlook on him. RIP Kirk

Kirk was not only my neighbor but he was my boss my friend and a mentor. While I do not excuse taking anything from anyone I love Kirk and will miss him. I know people will look at what he did a totally dismiss him but he was a positive force in my life. If not for him and his original wife I would not have gone to college. They made me believe that I could be successful and taught me what it was to be accountable for my own actions, they were always there for me. You may read that and think how is that possible look at what he did but I can only tell you my truth. I really don’t believe he committed suicide and I agree with the comments made about others being involved and profiting, I was there I know. No money in the world is worth a life. I only pray that his children will know how much he did love themand that they are able to cope with all that has happend. Kirk I forgive you and I love you!

This man targeted individuals who overcame extreme adversity to provide a decent home for their families and some modicum of security for themselves, while he just strolled in and took everything for his frivolous, self-indulgent gratification and his enablers groveled and drooled all over themselves as they offered up everyone they could find to buy in. Is he any differenct from other fraudalent hedge fund managers? No. Is he costing this country over $700 billion dollars? No. He is obviously not the only criminal out there but may be the only one who paid for it with his life. If life is as tough from the X as is suggested, someone else might have done it for him.
