Quote of The Week:
Aphorism: Manifest your reality through your verbal confirmation & actions. Regardless of the situation always be an evidence of LOVE!
I was footing around over on Complex and saw that Iggy Azalea signed with Interscope Records (Jimmy Iovine is no stranger to controversy). Don’t know who she is? Neither did I until Toure did that white girl/Hip-hop article in the NYTimes.
In short — she’s from Australia, is of the firm belief that sex will carry her career and she’s a slave master. I’m not here to rile anyone up about a white girl from down under who loves her some 2Pac and probably calls her black boyfriends n***er while they slay her with that Mandingo. I just thought it was interesting. Click the link for yourself!
Ps. I’m sure Iggy has some logical explanation for her “witty” use of the term slave master while she cracks her whip. Maybe because she’s a runaway slave master so she’s not doing it anymore or she’s ehh i don’t know. I’m not cultured enough to catch up. Extreme sells nowadays, get your money boo boo!
I’m feeling this Okay Africa Tv moment helping to link folks up with their ancestry. I would love the opportunity, so if you’re out there crawling the web to find out whose re-posting these videos give your boy a shout. Check out Q-Tip from A Tribe Called Quest and The Roots Crew as they learn more about their ROOTS.
I’ve been experimenting with sounds lately and stumbled across Odd Future’s The Internet and their Purple Naked Ladies. As much as i love naked ladies, if I ever got a purple one back tot he crib I’m getting the fcuk out the crib. Give their music a shot — if you like it remember you heard it here first. If you hate it — remember you heard it somewhere else first. It kind of makes you want to try some pills (not cocaine like the they suggest and watch Requiem of a Dream but with a happier ending. Ehh that’s as much of a review as I can give. I dig it until I forget it’s in my itunes like most of the music that’s in there.
The Internet x Purple Naked Ladies
Check this out, I’d be lying if i told you I know what the significance is but the visuals are pretty cool.
Tell me would you kill to save a life!

For those out there who love Drake’s sophomore effort ‘Take Care’ DJ Akdemiks took the time to make a mash up video of most of the samples Drake uses on his album. I knew I wasn’t bugging when I compared ‘Take Care’ album to a Jodeci LP, most of the samples are true R&B songs (no diss). The only issue I have is Drake lifting the hooks from the sampled songs for his songs, in order for a sample to be great you must re-create not just regurgitate. Just my thoughts, a good mix nonetheless.

“Even though this ad was not done in affiliation with PETA, I hope to have the opportunity to work with them to further the cause of animal rights in the future.”
It’s unfortunate that Tammi has such a reputation for ratchet behavior and an opportunistic mindset that it’s hard for people to take her seriously when fighting for something she’s actually passionate about. PETA takes anybody so she should be a shoe in.
She could do her next shoot with Dr. Dre’s Beats by Dre headphones, the non fur ones. haha. Check out his new design with Oscar De La Renta and the verbal lashing he got from Peta because of it.
We’re writing today after reading about your new fox-fur headphones design with Oscar de la Renta. We wanted to get in touch to urge you to keep fur and exotic-animal skins out of your Beats by Dre designs.
